I don't mind at all. The second empire is the Geckodon alliance. no third yet, but i'm thinking I might leave it at that. partly because it'll get hard to manage points from that extent.

That's a very good choice Talesine. The GA look like a very strong empire.

I especially like that they have their own downloadable list of custom ships on the Library.

To whoever made that list of ships for the GA: Very smart thinking; great job.

BTW, if I ever make a second character, I pledge him to either the Kzinti Empire or the Geckodon Alliance. Those guys were really cool and they were my runner up. I chose the ToE because their website looked cool, and I was amazed that an Empire with about 50 members could stay in 2nd place behind the Kzinti. That's dedication.

Everyone: Thanks for all the help, tips, and support that I got from this one post, I was very informative and all of you guys seem very friendly and you all have my greatest respect.

There are folks that maintain different characters in different empires. Like I said we all end up being pretty much the same group of folks regardless of how we get divided up into empires anyway. The only real difference is who you get to poke fun at and underneath it all it is all in good fun.
